Directions

From the North (including Cleveland’s East or South side):
If traveling south on I-271:  Take the U.S. 422 east split (one exit south of Chagrin Blvd.).  Follow signs “to Warren”.

Or if traveling east on I-480:  Take the U.S. 422 east split.  Follow signs “to Warren.”

Then travel  east  on U.S. 422 to “Ravenna/Chardon” exit (St. Rt. 44). 

Turn right onto St. Rt. 44.  Travel south on St. Rt. 44 seven miles to intersection with St. Rt. 82 (Mantua Corners).  Turn left onto St. Rt. 82 (east) and travel two miles.  Cross Cuyahoga River on bridge at bottom of steep hill.  ¼ mile beyond bridge turn right on Vaughn Rd.  In ¾ mile, at first stop sign, turn left on Pioneer Trail.  Travel 2 miles east on Pioneer Trail, passing Mormon Church and Pioneer Trail Orchard, turn right onto Asbury Rd. and travel ¾ mile, descending a steep hill.  Camp Asbury’s main parking area and office are on the left at the bottom of the hill.

From the East (Including Youngstown and Warren, Ohio):
Travel west on Ohio Turnpike (I-80) to exit 209.  Take St. Rt. 5 west about one mile to St. Rt. 534.  Turn right onto St. Rt. 534.  Travel north on St. Rt. 534 to St. Rt. 82.  Turn left (west) on St. Rt. 82.  Travel west on St. Rt. 82 about 8 miles to Garrettsville.  Continue through Garrettsville on St. Rt. 82.  Two miles west of Garrettsville turn left onto Pioneer Trail Rd.  (Follow signs to Historic Johnson House and Pioneer Trail Orchard).  Continue straight uphill through three-way stop intersection with St. Rt. 700.  Travel west 3/4 mile on Pioneer Trail Road.  Turn left onto Asbury Rd. (the first road on the left) and travel ¾ mile, descending a steep hill.  Camp Asbury’s main parking area and office are at the bottom of the hill on the left.

From the West (including Cleveland’s Westside and Cleveland Hopkins Airport):
(From Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, travel south on I-71 to Ohio Turnpike (I-80.)

Travel east on the Ohio turnpike (I-80) to exit 193  (St. Rt. 44, Ravenna/Chardon” exit).  Turn right onto St. Rt. 44 and travel 1/3 mile south.  Turn left onto St. Rt. 303 (in village of Shalersville).  Travel east 4.5 miles on St. Rt. 303 to Asbury Road.  (Cross Limeridge Road one mile before reaching Asbury Road).  Turn left onto Asbury Road and travel north 3.1 miles to Camp Asbury (You will stop at one intersection—Streeter Road—before arriving at camp).  Camp Asbury’s main entrance and office is on the right just before Asbury Road ascends a steep hill.

From the South (including Akron and Canton, and I-77):
Travel north on I-77 to I-76.  Travel east on I-76 to St. Rt. 44  North (“Ravenna” exit).  (Be careful:  St. Rt. 44 south “Rootstown” exits the interstate ¼ mile before St. Rt. 44 North).  Pass underneath I-76, go through one traffic light and turn right onto St. Rt. 44/St. Rt. 5 ByPass Highway.  Exit Bypass Highway at St. Rt. 44 north.  Cross St. Rt. 59 at traffic light.  Turn right at next traffic light onto St. Rt. 88.  Travel east 4.7 miles on St. Rt. 88 to Asbury Road.  (Limeridge Road intersects St. Rt. 88 1.4 miles before you reach Asbury Road).  Turn left onto Asbury Road and travel north on Asbury Road 4 miles.  (You will pass through two stop-sign intersections—St. Rt. 303 and then Streeter Road—before arriving at Camp Asbury).  Camp Asbury’s main entrance and office is on the right just before Asbury Road ascends a steep hill.
