Grants will be made only for those academic pursuits and continuing education opportunities designed to increase skills or develop growth in Ordained ministry.
Members in full connection in local church appointments in the East Ohio Annual Conference are eligible to apply. Those members of the East Ohio Annual Conference, whose special appointments beyond the local church are within the connectional structure (1300 – Within the Connectional Structure of United Methodism) of The United Methodist Church and who have no continuing education funds available to them from their employing institution or agency, may also apply.
Continuing education grants are limited to a total of $1,200 during a quadrennium.
