The Health and Welfare Task Force on Clergy and Congregational Wellness is presenting this workshop in two locations:
February 20 at Brecksville UMC
February 27 in New Philadelphia
The topics will include:
• Simplifying Your Life
• Time Management
• Stress Reduction
• Managing Priorities
• When and How to Say No
• Healthy Eating and Physical Activities
Participants will examine values and choices in the areas of mental, physical, social and spiritual health. A self-care covenant will create a plan for positive changes with accountability and support online.
Presenters will be Wanda Croft, and Eve Bevilacqua. Croft is a graduate of Goshen College and has held numerous positions including supervisory and in-service education positions in the nursing field. She is a trainer for the Self-Care Covenant workshop and a parish nurse at Union Hill UMC, Sugarcreek. Bevilacqua has been involved with the fitness industry for 37 years. She is the wellness director at Copeland Oaks and also instructs Mount Union College students in an ongoing internship program. Bevilacqua holds certifications from The American College of Exercise and the Senior Fitness Association and others.
One CEU is available from the Board of Ordained Ministry. Cost of the event is $25.00 and includes materials and lunch. Seating is limited and registration deadline is February 5. For more information contact (800) 831-3972 ext. 136.
