TIPS for using the online catalog of media resources.
You cannot reserve resources online. You will need to
contact the Media Center by e-mail, phone, fax, or postal
service.
Keep it
simple.
We are not “Google”. Using too many search criteria is
likely to result in no resources found. Use one keyword
rather than several.
Subjects are
general categories.
Choosing
“ALL” brings up all resources in a field.
“All ages”
means intergenerational.
Your search
will result in a list of resources that meet your criteria.
For more information on an individual resource, choose
“select.”
To search
for an author,
try entering the author’s last name in the description field
To search
for a biblical character,
enter the character’s name in the description field.
To search
for a series,
enter one or more keywords from the series title in the
description field. Searching by series may be tricky, call
or e-mail the media center if you need help.
For best
results, search using similar subjects or ages.
