North Canton Grace UMC for Good Friday found mutitudes of participants to carry a 14 ft x 6.5 ft, 425 lb cross.  Fourteen teams of 10 people each carried the cross one mile.  A prayer service took place at each of the handoff sites.  The journey began in New Baltimore at 7am and concluded at North Canton Grace UMC at approximately 8pm. 

Participants were asked to gather sponsors.  All money collected will be donated to assist homeless ministries in Stark County.  For more information, email Pastor Don Richards at dtailwind@aol.com.
