Rev. Nancy Hull Named President-Elect of UMA
Rev. Nancy S. Hull, president and CEO of Flat Rock Homes, Care Center and Community Services, and an ordained elder of East Ohio Conference, has been named chairperson-elect for the United Methodist Association (UMA) Board of Directors.
UMA enables healing and caring ministries to be Christian, spirit-centered and faith-based, through products and services consistent with Wesleyan heritage. More than 170 U.S. organizations in covenant relationship with the United Methodist Church are Health and Welfare Ministry members. Hull will be formally installed as the chairperson at the UMA national convention in March 2012.
Nancy has been a well-respected leader both in the East Ohio Conference and the UMA for many years. She helped to establish the EAGLE Accreditation Commission, which has developed the quality standards for accreditation of UMA Health and Welfare Ministries. Flat Rock Homes and the East Ohio Conference have long been blessed to have the leadership of Rev. Hull and are proud to know that her territory will be expanded to benefit ministries across the nation.
