Area Center Donates to Canton Calvary Mission

Each year the staff at the East Ohio Conference Area Center collect non perishable items during the holiday season.  Our staff is randomly organized into two groups for a friendly competition to see which team can collect the most items.  Of course the real winners are those individuals to whom we donate. 

Once again this year the Area Center has decided to donate to the Canton Calvary Mission.  The Mission is located in Northeast Canton, one of the poorest areas of  Stark County.  The food items we donated will be used in the Mission’s Food Pantry, as part of its Wednesday Hot Lunch program or during one of the Saturday Evening Meals offered throughout the year.

We encourage you to continue to find ways to reach out to those in need in your area.
