FIND-A-CHURCH Update
The newly launched United Methodist Communications
web site,
UMC.org includes a Find A Church Feature. Local
churches can customize the page to reflect their
uniqueness. There is a submission form found
here which will allow you to easily update your
information. Now would also be a good time for all
churches with web sites to make sure your listings
are up to date. Visitors are looking for reasons to
return to your site, and updated information with
interesting links is a way to ensure a return visit.

Update your church’s profile on “Find-A-Church”
Make sure your church is on the map for anyone who
might be looking for a place to worship. By
double-checking your church’s information online at
Find-A-Church.org, you make it easier for seekers
and church members to locate your church, find
important information about worship times and access
driving directions with an interactive map.
More than 35,000 churches are listed in
“Find-A-Church,” and in the last year it directed
thousands of people to a church for worship or other
services. We expect even more people to use
“Find-A-Church” since United Methodist
Communications launched the new UMC.org Web site to
bring people of faith together in new ways.
The new UMC.org's “Find-A-Church” feature does much
more than simply list your church’s address and
phone number. It offers an opportunity to personally
welcome seekers to your congregation, introduce your
members, add details about your worship schedule and
activities, and even show a picture of your church
and its people. Personalize your church’s page now
so that the additional information will be available
on the new Web site in January.
