The Ordained Elders of East Ohio Conference are an amazing group of men and women dedicated to the service of Christ in the local church and extension ministries in and outside the conference boundaries. Each one brings a variety of gifts, graces and inspiration which multiply exponentially when shared with one another.
My prayer for the Order of Elders of East Ohio is that they take full advantage of every opportunity to gather together, pray together, share experiences of ministry and mission and hold one another accountable for their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. The bond of ordination is a powerful one, both with God and with our colleagues in ministry, active and retired. Through retreats, mission trips and luncheons, the elders have an opportunity to grow closer to Christ and to each other, to learn to laugh with and lean on each other. As elders of East Ohio, you have a bond with a body of men and women who have experienced your joys and celebrations and who understand your sorrows and struggles.
Tap into the Order and find friendships that will last a lifetime, fellowship that will enrich your journey and encouragement that will remind you of the joy found in your ordination and service to all in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Order is excited about the many gifts you bring to the body and are looking forward to serving with you and being supportive of you as we share our ministries together. Thank you for responding to God’s call, fulfilling the requirements and sticking with the process. It was not always easy, but our prayer for you is your ordination was worth the wait and your ministry will be enhanced by your diligence and perseverance. Blessings to you all!
