141 SOW (Sermons of Wesley)

The Conference Council on Ministries (Office of Racial-Ethnic Ministries) has launched a pilot project entitled 141 SOW (Sermons of Wesley*). Racial-ethnic constituencies make for the primary targeted audience but anyone wanting to know more about the teachings of John Wesley and how to make practical application of particular sermon content is invited to attend any/all classes at convenient locations. 

Scholarly instruction related to 141 SOW will be delivered throughout 2010.

*John Wesley (1703-1791) founded Methodism.
A prolific writer, he printed several volumes of his sermons during his lifetime.
The published sermons either were rewritten from ones that he had preached
or were written specifically for print.
