Dear parents, grandparents, pastors, Christian educators,
Now more than ever, our children need the opportunity to be outside in God’s creation, connect with each other in safe ways, build a relationship with God, be adventurous, be mentored by positive Christian role models, and have fun!
Wanake offers your family a safe, fun place to explore God’s creation and build relationships with God, others, and ourselves. Clean, comfortable facilities on Wanake’s 250 acres, are staffed by capable, mature, caring counselors who love Jesus, children, and the out-of-doors. Deep understandings are built and new skills developed as campers and counselors live, laugh, study, create, work, and play in a Jesus-Centered environment in the out-of-doors. Counselors serve as mentors and role models as campers learn to live in community, building strong friendships and leadership skills.
I look forward to welcoming your family’s campers for an adventure that impacts lives for a lifetime and beyond!
Peace, Joy and Hope in Jesus,

Register for Camp at Wanake! It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Step #1 - Choose your week
Wanake offers seven (7) weeks of summer camp with opportunities for campers completing kindergarten in the spring of 2021 through graduated high school seniors in the spring of 2021. Each week of the seven-week summer there is a program for each age group. Registered campers for each week are divided into small groups of 8-10 campers and two counselors. Campers will be grouped with similar aged campers. (For example, 2nd-4th graders, 6th-8th graders, etc.). Most groups will have both boys and girls. Each group enjoys their own unique experience.Grades 1-12 in the fall of 2021 PLUS Spring 2021 high school graduates

#2 – Spread the Word!
Share with your family and friends that you are going to camp. If you have a home church, tell them you are registered for camp. Plan to make new friends at camp! That’s what we do! You may want to enjoy Wanake with a friend or invite a friend to consider attending Wanake even if you attend different weeks.#3 Pack your bags for the Adventure!
Wanake will send a packing list and details about your week of camp after you register. Check-in and check-out instructions will be sent to campers a couple of weeks before they are scheduled to arrive at camp. Check-in takes place mid-afternoon on Sundays. Check-out is on Fridays in the late afternoon.Create An Adventure!
There is a basic schedule for each day (see below). Each group of campers chooses their adventures from a variety of options and activities available to them (see below), so each group each week enjoys a unique experience. Campers are challenged to build skills and grow in progressive, age-appropriate ways. Campers practice decision making, friendship building, outdoor living, taking responsibility for themselves, leading, living as disciples of Christ, and more. As campers become tweens, teens and young adults, they are progressively challenged to develop their skills further, have opportunities to try more challenging activities, and take more leadership of their group for a super fun week!Gathered around a campfire, campers will sing songs, praise God, and tell funny stories, plus they will learn skills they can translate into their everyday life. For example, when a camper decides what toppings to put on the pizza they making around the campfire, they are exercising creativity and trying something new. Then responsibility is cultivated when they become in charge of checking their own pie iron while it cooks in the coals of the campfire. Finally, they will learn from both failures (a burnt pizza pie) and successes (a great meal) in an environment where failure is not fatal and success is not essential.
