Camp Wanake
Now more than ever, our children need the opportunity to be outside in God’s creation, be adventurous, build a relationship with God, connect with each other in safe ways, be mentored by positive Christian role models, and have fun!
Wanake offers your family a safe, fun place to explore God’s creation and build relationships with God, others, and ourselves.
Clean, comfortable facilities on Wanake’s 250 acres, are staffed by capable, mature, caring counselors who love Jesus, children, and the out-of-doors. Deep understandings are built and new skills developed as campers and counselors live, laugh, study, create, work, and play in a Jesus-Centered environment in the out-of-doors. Counselors serve as mentors and role models as campers learn to live in community, building strong friendships and leadership skills.
I look forward to welcoming your family’s campers for an adventure that impacts lives for a lifetime and beyond!
Peace, Joy and Hope in Jesus,
Julie Lautt, Director

Each group of campers chooses their adventures from a variety of options and activities available to them (see below), so each group each week enjoys a unique camping experience. Campers are challenged to build skills and grow in progressive, age-appropriate ways. Campers practice:
- decision making,
- friendship building,
- outdoor living,
- taking responsibility for themselves,
- leading,
- living as disciples of Christ, and more.
As campers become tweens, teens, and young adults, they are progressively challenged to develop their skills further, have opportunities to try more challenging activities, and take more leadership of their group for a super fun week!
