God Provides Free Meal on the last Saturday of each month all year long (including if the last Saturday is Christmas Day) from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Dine-in or pick-up is available.

Chapel of the Cross UMC

Clearview UMC

Family of Faith UMC

Heart 4 the City UMC

Lakeview UMC

A free community meal every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. (doors open at 5:00 p.m.)

Macedonia UMC

OPEN M is an acronym that stands for Opportunity for People Everywhere in Need Ministry. They are a comprehensive, faith-based ministry that helps people throughout the greater Akron area meet the spiritual and physical challenges of living with scarce resources. Hot lunch is served during the last two weeks of each month from 11:30 am. - 1 p.m. (except July, November and December). Some of our United Methodist Churches volunteer by preparing and serving these meals.

In the Summertime, OPEN M provides a mid-day meal for up to 300 individuals each day. Many of these individuals are children who are missing the daily breakfasts and lunches supplied by the public schools during the school year.

Redeemer North Hill UMC

Hot meal and a free clothing closet each Friday at 11:00 a.m. for worship and 11:30 a.m. for the meal. We offer Holy Communion following the meal at 12:45 p.m.

Rittman UMC

A sit-down dinner is served the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Ravenna UMC

Free Lunch on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Worship experience called, “Welcome to the Table” is offered at the beginning of every meal.

Shreve UMC
