Blue Rose Mission*

The Blue Rose Mission provides opportunities for community and church group volunteers to bring Christ to homeowners in need in Richland County through home improvement projects. The Mission is a program of the Mid-Ohio District of The United Methodist Church. For more information, please call the office at (419) 524-3762.

Eastbrook Mission Barn

Located in Western Pennsylvania and established in 2008 as a ministry of Eastbrook UMC, our mission is 4-fold-Collect, process, package, and ship UMCOR kits in a tri-state region; construct handicap access ramps and help with local needs; provide material support for ERT (Early Response Teams) doing disaster response; provide education about Christian mission, especially UMCOR and UMVIM. Epworth Center Work Mission*

Work Mission volunteers become the hands and feet of Jesus Christ by giving their time as servants of God. Work groups make building repairs for individuals, families, churches, and nonprofit organizations that cannot afford them. Anyone age 12 or older is welcome to participate. The Epworth Center Work Mission is a ministry of the Southern Hills District of The United Methodist Church. For more information, please call the office at (740) 484-4705.

Flat Rock Homes and Care Center

Flat Rock provides health care, day programming, vocational and employment services for adults with significant developmental disabilities and severe behavioral disorders in nine counties in Ohio. They provide much needed free, charitable care and services not covered by Medicaid or other programs. For more information contact Karen Kilgo E-mail.

Heart 4 the City

Heart 4 the City in Akron, OH is building the front porch to the kingdom of God by prioritizing relationships and establishing programs that address needs in the community. For more information please call (330) 784-1350 or E-mail.

O.P.E.N. M

O.P.E.N. M Community Works Akron (CWA) assists those in poverty to become economically self-sufficient through holistic employment assistance, prioritizing financial literacy, job retention, and mentorship to reduce individual barriers to employment. For more information contact Bob Titus E-mail.

The Nehemiah Mission*

The Nehemiah Mission rebuilds the lives and homes of the physically and fiscally challenged of Cleveland through volunteer mission groups that improve living environments in order to sow seeds of hope for individuals and neighborhoods. The Mission is a program of the North Coast District of The United Methodist Church. For more information, please E-mail Jim Szakacs.

Urban Mission*

The Urban Mission is the one of the largest charities in the Upper Ohio Valley, offering food, shelter and other essential services to low income families. The Mission offers a vast array of programs and services and stands as a beacon of hope and compassion for individuals who might otherwise never experience the love of God. For more information, please E-mail Rev. West Side Community House

Located in Cleveland, West Side Community House transforms lives in the community through an array of model programs and services that strengthen and stabilize the family, encourage lifelong learning and economic self-sufficiency, promote health and wellness, foster independence, and renew the life spirit.
