Camp Wanake Campout

A Housing and Childcare Option for Annual Conference 2023

Camp Wanake is pleased to open its retreat centers and cabins for clergy, laity, and their families to stay during Annual Conference. The Camp has a shuttle to transport those who stay at Wanake during Annual Conference to and from the John S. Knight Center, a one-hour trip each way.

Basic Package

Thursday, June 8 through Saturday, June 10
Two nights housing
Five meals (breakfast Friday and Saturday; supper Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

If you wish to begin your stay at Wanake beginning on June 7 (you are a clergy delegate or traveling a long distance) this option is available to you. The additional costs are delineated below. You will be given the option to choose this when you register for the Camp Wanake Campout.

Single-family rooms with bunk beds

Bathrooms are shared just a few steps down the hall
Cost:

• Adults $120
• Ages 5-17 $240 (includes three days of Day Camp)
• Ages 0-4  Free (no childcare offered)


Stay in a Cabin

Single-family cabins with bunk beds
Can sleep 16 people
Shower house and bathroom located a short walk away
Cost:

• Adults $75
• Ages 5-17 $210 (includes three days of Day Camp)
• Ages 0-4  Free (no childcare offered)


Stay in a Tent or RV

Bring your own
Shower house and bathroom located a short walk away
Cost per site per day:

• RV $34 (electric and water, no septic)
• Tent $19 (primitive)

Cost:

• Adults $48 (includes five meals)
• Ages 5-17 $190 (includes three days of Day Camp and five meals)


Add-on Options

Add a day of Day Camp $50/child
