Childcare

The Program Committee has worked tirelessly to provide members with access to childcare during Clergy Session June 7 and Annual Conference June 8-10. While there will be no onsite childcare at the John S. Knight Center, there are two options from which those in need of childcare those days can choose:

Kozmic Korner Pre-School and Child Care Center

Kozmic Korner Pre-School and Child Care Center will provide childcare at its 520 S. Main Street location in Akron June 7-10. The Center is approximately one mile from the John S. Knight Center.

Kozmic Korner provides childcare for children ages six weeks to 10 years of age. Parents wishing to enroll their child(ren) in Kozmic Korner those days must visit the Child Care Center’s website to complete paperwork before June 1 so that the Kozmic Korner team will know how many children to expect those days. Parents must also provide their child(ren)’s immunization shot records when they are dropped off for the first time at Kozmic Korner.

The cost per child varies by age, with the average cost being $70 per child per day. Those needing assistance with this childcare cost can apply for $100/child scholarships offered through the Connectional Ministries office by calling Melanie Thomas at (800) 831-3972 ext. 102 or sending her an e-mail by June 1.

If you have questions for the team at Kozmic Korner, please call the office at (330) 253-8125.
