Positions Available

December 17
Chardon UMC is seeking to fill two open positions:

The Childcare Worker will provide childcare during Church activities. This position will provide for the physical, emotional, and intellectual stimulation and safety for children ages 0-4 years while working in the church's nursery.

The Director of Children’s Ministries will oversee the vision and direction of our children’s ministries. The desire is to see a strong, thriving, and fruitful children’s ministry that is Gospel-focused with equipped and confident leaders. This part-time salaried position of 10 hours per week oversees children’s programming from ages birth through 5th grade.

If interested in either position, please e-mail your resume to the Church office, attn: SPRC.

Henrietta UMC in Amherst is looking for a Director of Children and Youth Ministry to work closely with the pastor and other key church leaders to: lead the Sunday School program (recruitment of teachers, selecting curriculum, scheduling/teaching classes and support communications); lead and expand the youth program (including curriculum, activities, volunteers and support communications); oversee the implementation of the Safe Sanctuaries policy; lead the Faith Formation Committee; coordinate the Nursery; and plan special events for the children (i.e. Christmas program, Easter program). This role is anticipated to be part-time (15-20 hours per week). We are seeking someone with a strong Methodist background and commitment to Christ and affirmation of those teachings, who has a passion for youth, is committed to safety, and is able to work flexible hours. Salary will be commensurate with experience and a background check is required. If interested, e-mail the church office or call (440) 965-2400.
