CLERGY WELL-BEING

The Bishop, the Board of Ministry, and Conference leadership are committed to the well-being of East Ohio Conference clergy and their families.

The primary task of the Commission on Clergy Well-Being is researching, educating, advocating, and communicating about the five dimensions of clergy well-being: spiritual, emotional, financial, physical, and social well-being.

The Commission includes representation from the Fellowship of Associate Members and Local Pastors (FAMLP), the Order of Deacons, the Order of Elders, and other persons committed to the well-being of clergy and their families.

This homepage and the sidebar pages are dedicated to each of the five dimensions of clergy well-being contain resources designed to educate and encourage you to focus and commit to caring for your well-being. A good starting point is to familiarize yourself with the resources and services available through your health benefits plan. Please visit the HealthFlex Wellness page of the Conference website for more details and call the member services number on the back of your health insurance card to ask questions.

The Commission on Clergy Well-Being encourages you to e-mail Rev. David Whitt, Chair of the Commission, to offer feedback about the resources on these pages. We desire that all clergy have a safe place in which to share concerns around issues of well-being.

Rev. Dr. Donald Bell addresses the 2024 East Ohio Annual Conference.
