Dear Members of the East Ohio Conference,
Gun violence continues to destroy lives and tear apart families and communities. The attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was a deplorable act of violence that killed one person and injured others at Saturday’s rally in Pennsylvania.
I invite you to join me in praying for the family who lost their loved one, for those who were injured including former President Trump and their families. As Christians we are called to work and advocate for peace, reconciliation, and non-violence. Let us remain steadfast in this work as we renew our commitment to end all forms of violence.
