RESILIENT LEADERSHIP

“We are living and leading in unprecedented times and we have to rely on the deep resources of our faith and on the proven behaviors and strategies that help to build resilient leadership. Resiliency is one of the pillars of faith and is foundational to the pathway of discipleship. A resilient leader demonstrates the ability to flourish even in the face of adversity, hardship and chaos. Resilient leaders develop the necessary skills to pivot from the challenges and work to increase their ability to learn how to lean into the new possibilities and the opportunities for growth. The East Ohio Conference has developed resources for clergy and laity to help increase their capacity for greater discipleship and resilient leadership so that they can respond adaptively to the challenges they face in their personal lives and in their ministry in the local church and in the communities they serve.” - Bishop Tracy S.
