MESSAGE IN THE MOVIES
Bruce Batchelor-Glader is a life-long movie fan. He learned to read at an early age by perusing the TV and movie listings in the newspapers. Saturdays were usually spent at afternoon matinees.
Batchelor-Glader began developing his own opinions of movies during high school. He was able to watch favorite films over and over while serving as an usher at the local movie theater in Chagrin Falls.
While pursuing a B.A. in Journalism at The Ohio State University, Batchelor-Glader served as the film critic for The Ohio State Lantern. He has conducted film workshops at conference and local church gatherings, including a very special seminar on The Simpsons and Faith.
Batchelor-Glader is a retired pastor now living in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has done reviews for the East Ohio Conference in print and social media for more than twenty-five years.
