“The tomb is empty. Jesus is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
Easter is the announcement and celebration of the good news that Jesus defies death. Jesus has victory over the grave. Jesus, who is alive for evermore.
Easter is the announcement that love conquers hate, that right conquers wrong, that good conquers evil.
Easter is about how our God, whose majesty and power is beyond our comprehension, our God who is concerned about and cares for and loves humanity and all of creation so much that to save the world Almighty God, our God, became one with us and one of us.”
