Confirmation Retreats

Both Camp Asbury and Camp Wanake annually offer Confirmation Retreats in February. The focus is on UM History & Beliefs, the Sacraments, and UM Structure. Participants have the opportunity to answer the question, “Where did the UMC get its start and what are they about?” The weekend includes making new friends, discovering great ways to grow closer to God through practicing spiritual disciplines, and being a part of a creative worship experience.

Watch in the fall – typically September or October - for the announcement of dates for the following February.

February 23 - 25
Cost: $145/youth; $135/adults
Bring your confirmation class for the weekend to remember! Explore the United Methodist understanding of the sacraments, ways we talk about and experience God, how we can connect with God in prayer, and United Methodist heritage and organization (aka History & Polity). Our time for learning will be hands-on, engaging, and fun. One adult chaperone must be present for the weekend with required for every six youth of same gender as the chaperone.
