Rev. Gary Jones is the East Ohio Conference director of Camps & Retreat Ministries, a position he has held for more than ten years. 

Jones is certified by The United Methodist Church in Christian Education, Youth Ministry, and Camps & Retreat Ministries. He is an ordained deacon and a member of the Western Pennsylvania Conference. People who know Jones appreciate his deep faith in Jesus Christ, his respect and love for all persons, his passionate enthusiasm for camping and retreat ministries, his creative ideas, and his strong leadership.

A native of Warren, PA., Jones is a graduate of Grove City College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, and of Methodist Theological School in Ohio, where he received both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Education. He and his wife Melissa are parents of two daughters.
