Financial Aid

It is our desire that no child misses out on our camp events due to financial concerns. Every year we offer camperships to hundreds of families, and this is made possible through generous support of The East Ohio Conference of The United Methodist Church, endowment funds available to us because of wise planners, and gifts from donors who know the value of an experience at camp.

In addition to financial aid camperships, consider these budget stretching options:

Choose Tier 1 when registering for camp.
Pay in multiple payments over time. Contact the Camps & Retreat Ministries office at (330) 499-3972 ext. 139 or via e-mail to arrange a payment plan that works for your family.
Take advantage of the sibling discount campership if more than one child from your family is attending camp. Pay full price for the first child and we will deduct $50 off the price of each additional child attending camp. Contact the Camps & Retreat Ministries office at (330) 499-3972 ext. 139 or via e-mail to take the sibling discount.
East Ohio Camps has Campership funds available. Complete an application.
Your church may be able to help pay part of the cost. Check with your Camp Contact Person or your Pastor for details.

About Financial Aid

Financial Aid is intended to offset a portion of the camp fee. The initial campership grant is in the amount of $250. If more financial need exists, you may indicate that on the campership form and consideration will be made. Again, it is our desire that no child miss out on the Summer Camp experience at East Ohio Camps. We do ask that every camper pay the initial $40 registration fee.
All applications will be considered based on need regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or religion.
To be considered, all applications must be entirely and accurately completed. The parent/guardian verifies need by completing and signing the application.
To be considered, we encourage your family to complete the application as soon as you can. Funds are granted on a first-come first-served basis.
If you are awarded Financial Aid, you will be notified by e-mail of the grant. The grant will be applied to your registration account towards any outstanding balance.
After funding has been granted, you will be responsible for paying the remaining camp fees if any remain.

Camper Payment Log
For churches to use when sending payments. Please make copies and submit a payment log each time payment is made from your church. This way we can make sure that the proper campers get credit for payment.
