Camp Administration, Development & Marketing Director

Rev. Hannah Weisbrod is director of Camp Administration, Development & Marketing for the Camps & Retreat Ministries team of the Connectional Ministries office.

She first experienced East Ohio Conference Camps as a 9-year-old at Camp Wanake. Over the years, that camp site in Beach City, and all it has to offer, became central to her faith journey. It was at Camp Wanake that Weisbrod first committed to following Christ and where her call to ministry was firmly shaped. During her college and seminary years, she served on summer staff at Wanake as a counselor, coordinator, and director of Spiritual Formation.

An Ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church, Weisbrod served Tiffin St. Paul’s and Melmore UMCs before being appointed associate pastor of Strongsville UMC, where she served for seven years. In 2025 she began serving as projects coordinator at the Harbor and Bridge Community Center in Cleveland, an Advance Special ministry of the East Ohio Conference. She will continue to serve part-time in that ministry while being a director on the Camps & Retreat Ministries team.

Weisbrod earned a bachelor’s degree in Christian Thought from Grove City College and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary. She and her husband Ben enjoy exploring the Cleveland Metroparks, seeing shows at Playhouse Square, and traveling, especially to national parks.
