DisAbility AWARENESS
In The United Methodist Church the DisAbility Awareness Team raises awareness of, and advocates for the ministry of, persons with disabilities.

According to statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2019:
Funding is available through the DisAbility Ministries Committee of The United Methodist Church (DMCUMC), General Board of Global Ministries. Limited grants may assist with funding certain accessibility and inclusion projects. Grant applications are due by July 1 of each year. These grants are made possible by donations to the DMCUMC through Advance #30210542.

The Committee on Disability Concerns has programs and speakers available for education events, district leadership training events, and conference training opportunities.
