EarthKeepers
Global Ministries EarthKeepers is a training program that equips U.S.-based United Methodists to launch and grow environmental projects in their communities. Topics include eco-theology, antiracism, community organizing, and project planning. All participants plan a project during the training. The current EarthKeepers in East Ohio are listed below and they would be happy to discuss Creation Care in the church with you!

Patrick Booth serves as the Co-Director of Project ARK (Advancing Resilient Khmer) in Cambodia. Project ARK's mission is to tackle poverty as a culprit of human trafficking by equipping and restoring livelihood and dignity through the construction trade. Patrick's background in counseling has enabled him to share adaptive skills for adolescent refugees.
Dr. Belinda Forbes serves as the Liaison for Faith & Health Partnerships with Fundacion AMOS Salud & Esperanza in Latin America. She is building local capacity among families in areas such as health education, farming, nutrition, disaster prevention, clean water, and women’s health to name a few.
Temba Nkomozepi serves as an Agriculturalist with Mujila Falls Agriculture Center in Zambia. He takes part in a range of agricultural, educational, and health projects, as well as church growth and development. Mujila Falls raises essential crops, engages in small animal husbandry, cattle and goat milking, fruit culture, tree nurseries, fish culture, and research.
Lourdes Ramirez serves as the Volunteers in Mission Coordinator with the Evangelical National Primitive Methodist Church of Guatemala. She connects passionate teams with local projects in Guatemala that further the mission of the church in this region.
