Mission Statement: Empowering youth to be leaders in the church of today, by striving for a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Emerging Leaders program exists to help develop UM teen discipleship leaders. The teens on Emerging Leaders get leadership training with hands-on experience as they plan events for local churches at the conference level. These events help to empower the teens across the conference to be Christian leaders in their own churches, communities and schools. We strive to maintain a delicate balance for our events to be sure there is leadership and spiritual development, as well as evangelistic pieces and outreach opportunities all while having fun in the name of Jesus!
