Nonprofit Partners Summit | November 5 in Worthington
The United Methodist Foundation of West Ohio (UMFWO) is pleased to continue this educational conference for the 5th year, featuring expert speakers on topics related to nonprofit fundraising, leadership development, and administration. This year's conference will be held on Thursday, November 5 at the West Ohio Conference Area Center in Worthington. This Summit is intended to benefit nonprofit organizations with ties to The United Methodist Church, specifically the UMFWO Nonprofit Partners, East Ohio UMC Advance Specials, and UM affiliated organizations, although other faith-based 501(c)3's across Ohio are welcome and encouraged to attend! See link below for details and registration. A small block of discounted rooms ($119 per night plus tax) are available at the Sheraton Worthington for the night of November 4. #GivingTuesday Match for Conference Advances | December 1
The Board of Missions is encouraging United Methodists to support our mission and ministry Advance partners on #GivingTuesday by matching donations made on that day. Donations must be made online on December 1 and the maximum match per Advance is $500. Our online donation platform allows donors to schedule donations in advance. On the donation page under frequency, select “once, on a future date” then select December 1. In 2025, 25 Advances received over $9,000 in matching donations! Each year we see more participation and our goal this year is to match at least $10,000. The current list of Advances can be found on the link below.
