Early Response Team (ERT) Training | June 20 in North Canton
Learn best practices for responding as a volunteer in disaster situations. Training includes how to: interact with survivors; help survivors recover belongings; tarp roofs; and safely remove debris. Successful completion of the training and a background check by United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is required to receive your credentials as a certified UMCOR ERT volunteer for three years. The training will take place at the East Ohio UMC Area Center in North Canton on June 20 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The cost is $25 and includes class materials, a t-shirt, lunch, and the background check. The last day to register is June 16.

Flat Rock Homes 160th Anniversary Celebration | July 31
All are invited to celebrate the 160th anniversary of Flat Rock Homes with guest speaker Bishop Hee-Soo Jung. Flat Rock Homes is a long-time conference Health & Well-Being partner, Fund 9174. The event will take place on July 31 at 5:30 p.m. at Flat Rock Homes in Flat Rock, OH. There will be a silent auction and heavy appetizers and desserts are included with your ticket.
