"Bible Adventure Road Trips" is a Christian Education Resource for the Whole Family
"Bible Adventure Road Trips" is a Bible-based resource for families to assist them in exploring their surroundings while having fun together and deepening their understanding of the Bible. This resource was developed by a United Methodist pastor and graphic artist during the time of pandemic protocol and social distancing, when traditional methods of Christian Education, such as Sunday school classes and Vacation Bible School, presented significant challenges.

This resource takes Christian Education out of the classroom and into the family car, as families take five road trips to some favorite places in their community to take pictures and explore the meaning of assigned Bible passages. The road trips include a favorite restaurant, lake, river, woods, and cemetery. On each road trip, the setting and surroundings serve to provide a deeper insight and understanding of the assigned scripture. Discussion questions are provided to help families discuss the Bible passage.

Families earn points by completing various challenges on each road trip and by attending weekly Zoom meetings. Every family that earns 100 points receives a $25 grocery gift card for a family picnic.
