MISSIONS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Rev. Kathy Dickriede is an East Ohio Partner in Mission who serves as the Conference United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) director. She promotes local, national, and international UMVIM trips, trains UMVIM team leaders, encourages partnerships across the global connection of The United Methodist Church, and invites others to join this journey.
Dickriede is available for Sunday morning preaching, speaking on United Methodist Women Sundays and at retreats and community gatherings, and strategizing with mission teams and committees, and more.
An ordained Deacon in The United Methodist Church, Dickriede changed her ministry focus from youth to mission work in 2007. She and her husband Danny have served in the mission field since 2008. Their call led them to the Camphor Mission Station in Liberia, West Africa. There they have built relationships at the school, the clinic, the church, and in the agricultural fields of the Mission.
Her favorite Scripture is Micah 6:8: “And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
You can support Dickriede by giving to the fund that provides her salary support: Fund EOC 9948 Partners in Mission, East Ohio Conference.
